Streszczenie. Artykuł przedstawia metodę przewidywania obciążenia zasobów sprzętowych za pomocą modeli aplikacji opracowanych na podstawie kategorii i wysokopoziomowych charakterystyk. Opisano zastosowanie opracowanej metody do optymalizacji procesu alokacji zasobów sprzętowych dla maszyn wirtualnych w środowisku heterogenicznej chmury obliczeniowej typu Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS).
